Our McCartney, Alex Hills, discovered his love for The Beatles in 2021 after hearing Paperback Writer and becoming captivated by the harmonies. Dedicated to portraying Paul McCartney, he learned guitar and bass left-handed and closely studied McCartney’s performances. Since then, he has appeared as McCartney in multiple tribute acts, performing at venues including the iconic Cavern Club.

In August 2025, Joe Winterton joined as George Harrison after connecting with Alex on Facebook. A month later, Luke J. Barrett came on board as John Lennon through Instagram, along with his friend Keith Drago as Ringo Starr. Together, they formed the lineup now known as Eight Days A Beat.
